Check out what is happening in May and June!
Spring is a busy time at the Franklin Animal Shelter. Besides the same kinds of winter clean up that everyone does, it’s our busy fundraiser time. We just drew our Spring Lucky Paw winner at the Franklin Community Day last week. Our annual 5K race is getting ready to go on the 29th, and our golf tournament is filling up fast for June 20th.
But the great thing about our community is that what we are doing is only the tip of the iceberg! There are a number of places around the area doing great things to help us out. For starters, there is Ricky’s Cruise-In Nights happening at the Refinery in Andover. This runs on Wednesday nights from 6PM to 8PM starting May 25th. Each night will have a 50/50 raffle where the proceeds will go to the Franklin Animal Shelter. We hope to see some of you there!
The very next week, on June 4th, the great folks at Twelve 31 Events in Tilton will be having a Pancakes for Puppies (P4P) breakfast. The event runs from 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM and will be held at 261 Main Street in Tilton. For a minimum $5 donation, you get 2 pancakes and a side of bacon, with all proceeds from the event going to the Shelter.
And of course we will be out at the Franklin Transfer Station for a few weekends in June running out voluntary Toll Road. Any donations you can give, be it cash or items, is always appreciated.
We will keep you posted on other events as they come up this summer. As ever, thanks for being such a great and supporting community!
