Announcing our Spring Fundraiser Series for 2022

It’s still winter in New Hampshire, but we have begun preparations for our 2022 Spring Fundraiser events! The Shelter will be accepting new animals soon and we want to make sure we have the resources in place to make sure the dogs and cats entrusted to us get the very best care we can give them.

Our first event is participation in the Funds 4 Paws Indoor Triathlon, to be held at Funspot on March 29th. The FAS Pawesome Foursome will be making our return appearance this year to see if we can bring home that 1st Place Fundraiser plaque again. For those of you who want to get a bit more physically active in your support, our 8th Annual 5K Fun Run will be held on May 29th. This event is held with our partner Millennium Running and is proudly sponsored by Watts Water Technologies of Franklin. We are accepting individual runners and teams, with a new student division this year. Want to make your participation go even further? We ask that all our runners consider getting friends and family to pledge their support as well. By doing that, suddenly your $25 entry fee could bring in $50 or $100 for the event! If a 5K run sounds a bit too strenuous for you, how about a round of golf? Registration is now open for our 4th Annual Golf Tournament, to be held on June 20th at the Lochmere Country Club in Tilton, NH. The event sold out last year, so sign up before April 30th to take advantage of our early bird pricing and guarantee a spot on the course for your foursome. Registration covers your greens fees, cart, and our lunch buffet after the tournament. We will also have various games, raffles and a silent auction during the event. Last year featured a chance to win a trip to the Super Bowl! The tournament is also a great opportunity for local businesses to get your names out by sponsoring a hole, the beverage cart, or even being the Title Sponsor for the whole day.
